Senior Workplace Delivery Manager

As a Workplace Experience Leader, you will be responsible for leading the Workplace experience (FM and Experience) function across QLD and SA People, Strategy and Experience (PSE) function within Telstra. This position is accountable for overall management of FM and workplace experience across the QLD and SA portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement best in-class workplace delivery model across QLD and SA portfolio based on the JLL's existing platform
  • Manage facilities, minor works, and workplace services ensuring cost-effective operations and adherence to contractual obligations
  • Enhance service delivery and compliance standards across all hard and soft services
  • Ensure Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules are in place and maintained
  • Manage an operating budget and make recommendations on annual budgets; Ensure all billings for business services are invoiced and billed as required. Ensure that savings goals are met and adhere to approved budgets
  • Foster strong relationships with client stakeholders, Landlords and service contractors
  • Oversee maintenance operations, compliance with regulatory requirements, and risk management practices. Ensure all vendors are compliant
  • Manage and assist with all relevant tender processes in accordance with the company's policies and procedures
  • Support and oversee the performance and day-today management of workplace experience team in key hubs across the portfolio
  • Invest in relationships with industry peers and colleagues to ensure best practice methods are applied and the team is up to date with industry/global trends
  • Remain abreast of new technology, suppliers, venues and industry best practice

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in facilities, workplace delivery and property management
  • Well-developed interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Strong influencing and networking skills
  • Strong budget management and financial analysis skills
  • Confident communicator with engaging presentation skills and active listening capability
  • Passion for quality service delivery
  • Ability to effectively deal with stressful situations and adapt to rapid changes
  • Goal-oriented, able to focus on meeting all performance targets
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and follow through on improvement initiatives
  • Team focused individual who cooperates and works well with others to deliver outstanding service
  • Strong understanding of digital technology in the events space, including webcasting, streaming
  • Be available on site/ in-office at least 3 days a week
