Human Resource Specialist

At our company, we are seeking an experienced Human Resource specialist to partner with our Retail & Wholesale teams across Australia and New Zealand.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with leaders across Retail & Wholesale to provide generalist HR advice and support.
  • Drive recruitment and onboarding processes that attract, engage, and retain talent aligned to our values.
  • Manage annual performance and succession planning to build a culture of high performance.
  • Provide advice on employee relations and compliance, ensuring fair processes.
  • Support workplace injury management, leave processes, and employee data integrity.
  • Deliver and embed global HR initiatives into the business.
  • Oversee smooth employee lifecycle processes.
  • Lead HR projects, policy reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' HR generalist experience, ideally in a multi-site retail or wholesale environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, Awards/Agreements, and HR compliance.
  • Proficiency with HRIS (Workday experience highly regarded).
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A collaborative style with the confidence to advise and coach leaders at all levels.
