">Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Leader to join our team. As an Assistant Director, you will play a key role in leading, supporting and managing our team of Educators.

This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to make a real impact in our organization. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the workplace, ensuring compliance with OH&S requirements and maintaining the highest standards of child care and education.

As a key member of our management team, you will be expected to lead by example, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a strong commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the workplace
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S requirements
  • Maintain the highest standards of child care and education
  • Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership or management role
  • Experience in overseeing and implementing programs based on children's needs and interests
  • A strong understanding of compliance and National Quality Standards (NQF)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum Diploma of Children's Services
  • Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications
  • Current Employment Working with Children Check
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Sound understanding of EYLF and NQF
  • Ability to lead in a classroom environment
