Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned mainframe expert to join our team. As a high-availability database specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing database solutions on the z/OS platform.


About the Role
  • Maintain and optimize database architecture (structure, schema, data, performance, integrity, backup, recovery).
  • Analyze problems, identify root causes, and ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Collaborate with application developers to deploy and implement database changes.
  • Implement Mainframe Db2 database changes, including after hours.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Db2 application DBA on the mainframe platform.
  • Advanced problem determination skills.
  • Familiarity with Db2 Data Sharing.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Requirements
  • Australian citizenship or eligibility for work in Australia.
  • Baseline Australian Government clearance.
  • Pre-employment screening check.
