Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

About This Role

This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of our facilities. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our plant and equipment.

You will be part of a dynamic team that works together to deliver high-quality results while maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage planned maintenance activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and motivate a team of direct reports to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on maintenance activities, including timesheets and equipment performance metrics.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, to ensure seamless communication and cooperation.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A trade qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably within the rail or heavy industry sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead by example.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications relevant to the role.
