Facilities Manager Role Overview

A key position in supporting the implementation of our facilities management strategy to optimise costs and improve service delivery across operational and tenanted properties.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of facilities management across a region, covering approximately 30 properties.
  • Oversee estate improvement projects, ensuring they are delivered efficiently and safely within live operational environments.
  • Coordinate the delivery of a full range of facilities management services with contract partners.
  • Manage budgets, track expenditure, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure services are delivered in a cost-efficient and high-quality manner.
  • Maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a safe working environment while making strategic decisions that drive operational excellence and long-term value.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in property asset management, maintenance planning and stakeholder management.
  • Experience in budget management with a focus on cost control and financial planning.
  • A trade qualification is required, for example plumbing, gas, electrical or fabric.
  • Full driving licence and ability to travel as required.
  • NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safety qualification is desired.
