At our organization, we strive to deliver exceptional care and services to our residents. As a Culinary Expert, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our culinary services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and serve high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Manage food inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Attend training sessions and meetings to stay up-to-date on best practices and company policies.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Three years of quantity and/or restaurant-style cooking experience are necessary.
- The ideal candidate will have knowledge of cooking methods, food and catering trends, quality, production, sanitation, and presentation.
- Experience in food cost and operational control is preferred.
- Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) and diet management software is preferred.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. May be exposed to infectious waste, disease, conditions, etc. including exposure to the AIDS and Hepatitis B viruses. Workday may involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting, transferring, pushing or pulling residents/patients or equipment/supplies, and working weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled.
