Green Space Specialist

As a Green Space Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces. This hands-on position requires strong communication skills, the ability to follow directions, and a dedication to delivering quality work.

This role involves working at various sites across Sydney, where you will undertake tasks such as planting, weeding, pruning, and watering. You will also be responsible for mowing and whipper snipping lawns, trimming edges, and caring for turf areas.

The scope of work includes preparing soil, mulching, and planting beds, as well as operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment. Safety protocols must be adhered to ensure a safe work environment.

As a team player, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals. A valid drivers license and white card are essential requirements for this role, along with relevant experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planting, weeding, pruning, and watering.
  • Mowing and whipper snipping lawns, trimming edges, and caring for turf areas.
  • Preparing soil, mulching, and planting beds.

About the Role:

You have proven yourself to be a hard worker with a strong commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to high standards. You are passionate about delivering quality work and value teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.

A Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens is highly regarded, and you must hold a valid drivers license and white card. You are prepared to work outdoors in various weather conditions and have the ability to safely lift heavy objects when required.
