Job Title: Dental Officer Level 3

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Dental Officer to join our team at the South East Regional Hospital in Bega Valley.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based clinical care to patients, within your scope of practice and legislative and regulatory frameworks.
  • Utilize clinical tools, equipment, and applications to ensure high-quality care.
  • Maintain accurate and appropriate clinical records.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical practice and develop quality improvement activities.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to oral health staff.
  • Actively participate in oral health promotion and preventative programs.
Requirements:
  • Dental qualification eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Highly advanced skills in managing difficult clinical situations.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to a preventative/population health approach to patient care.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of computer systems, including electronic patient records and digital imaging.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team.
