**What you'll be doing**

Provide a range of administrative and clerical support services to enable the ISLHD Renal Service_ _to achieve their objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.

Wollongong Hospital is the Illawarra and Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has bed base of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.

This role is a **Category A **role. Preferred applicants will be reviewed for compliance and required to maintain compliance with the screening, assessment and vaccination requirements, relevant to your position, as outlined in NSW Health policy directive on Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases.

Selection Criteria
- Ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks in a demanding workload and experience in responding to a range of enquiries.
- Ability to exercise basic problem solving skills using reference to established methods and procedures.
- High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing a quality service and quality improvement initiatives in workplace practices and procedure.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Outlook and mainframe systems such as IPM and eMR.
- Medical terminology certificate, or working towards the completion of certificate or relevant experience.
