
Independent Living Specialist

As a rehabilitation specialist, you will play a vital role in helping people regain their independence and achieve their life goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive occupational assessments to identify areas of improvement
- Develop and implement customized rehabilitation plans tailored to individual needs
- Craft intervention programs that enhance functional performance, independence, and work capacity
- Identify and remove barriers to maximize work participation
- Foster understanding of healthcare funding schemes and empower clients to achieve wellness and recovery goals
- Navigate complex relationships with clients, family members, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy
- Registration with AHPRA or ESSA
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with diverse client groups
- Strong communication skills and customer-centric mindset
- Confidence working independently and driving meaningful change in the community
- Driver's license and vehicle required for fieldwork
- Eligibility for a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
