IT Operations Specialist Job Description

As an IT Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of IT strategies that meet business objectives.
  • Manage incoming support requests with efficiency and provide high-quality resolutions.
  • Support user onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Collaborate with the software development team to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot and fix hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings within Microsoft 365.
  • Take charge of phone operations systems to optimize performance.
  • Support API integrations with third-party software to enhance functionality.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for IT personnel.
  • Monitor and improve our cybersecurity posture to protect against threats.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record in IT operations with strong skills in Windows environments, Office 365, networking basics, and common business applications.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and maintaining websites and hosting on AWS is highly desirable.
  • An ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical language into everyday language.
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and remote support tools is a bonus.
