About the Role

The primary purpose of this role is to provide strategic direction for workplace programs, prioritizing building utilization in partnership with internal operational stakeholders and business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a skilled professional to develop and contribute to our property workplace strategy, planning programs and budgets aligned with strategic business objectives.
  • This role involves leading property workplace governance, aligning internal and external stakeholder groups to maximize property asset lifecycle and deliver sound financial outcomes.
  • The successful candidate will build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, balancing business requirements, financial priorities, and regulatory obligations.
  • They will provide strategic and operational leadership to the Workplace team, delivering the workplace management program and driving continuous improvement of property asset management systems.
  • Ensuring technical documentation is controlled and maintained in accordance with quality management system and relevant legislation.
  • Conducting post-implementation reviews for significant incidents and sharing lessons learned with internal stakeholders.

About You

  • A relevant degree qualification or experience deemed equivalent is required.
  • Expert knowledge of legislative and compliance requirements, including Work Health and Safety and National Building Code of Construction.
  • Appropriate asset management qualifications and membership in industry groups such as Facilities Management Association or Asset Management Council.
  • Evidence of property, facilities, contract, and stakeholder management experience and expertise.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing delivery of multi-disciplinary maintenance and asset management programs and project delivery.
