Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Planning Lead to join our team and drive planning for long-term community outcomes.

About the Role

This pivotal position drives city-shaping initiatives across integrated planning and reporting, citywide strategic planning, asset and capital works planning, and oversight of project management office activities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversight of coordination and delivery of Council's Integrated Planning and Reporting suite.
  • Leadership in strategic planning for city outcomes across open space, catchments, recreation, biodiversity, and transport.
  • Guidance on planning and design of major city-shaping projects.
  • Overseeing coordinated planning and long-term management of Council's asset portfolio.
  • Management of forward planning and budgeting for Council's capital works program.
  • Leadership of the Project Management Office (PMO) and championing continuous improvement initiatives.
