Chief Information Officer

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the IT capabilities of our organisation meet the needs of our schools and early learning centres.

As the leader of whole-of-enterprise technology strategy, ICT Framework, and delivery of ICT Services, the CIO is responsible for providing strategic advice to Board Committees on digital transformation, risk management, and strategies related to technology.


Job Description:

The CIO will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in designing, implementing, and maintaining an effective IT infrastructure that supports the educational objectives of our organisation. The CIO will work closely with school principals, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure that IT systems and services are aligned with the needs of our students and staff.

The CIO will also be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive ICT strategy that takes into account the evolving needs of our organisation and the wider education sector.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualifications in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Executive leadership experience within a medium to large organisation with complex information and communications technology requirements.
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance and NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
