Job Overview

An experienced Senior Information Technology Strategist is required to spearhead a long-term ICT project for a government client. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an ICT strategy that aligns with the agency's business goals and objectives, ensuring value for money, continuity of services, and the implementation of a fit-for-purpose solution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an ICT strategy that drives business growth and improves efficiency.
  • Manage the transition of ICT services to ensure seamless delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify technology needs and requirements, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, negotiate contracts, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Ensure the security and reliability of IT systems and data, mitigating risks and protecting sensitive information.
Requirements
  • Financial management: Level 4 (SFIA) with experience in financial planning and budgeting.
  • Project management: Level 5 (SFIA) with ability to take full responsibility for project definition, approach, facilitation, and completion.
  • Stakeholder relationship management: Level 5 (SFIA) with expertise in identifying communications and relationship needs of stakeholder groups.
