Navigating Complex Systems Leader

Creating equal opportunities for Victorians is a priority at the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing. Our areas of focus are child protection, housing, disability, family violence prevention, multicultural affairs, LGBTQI+ equality, veterans, women and youth.
We work in community-based settings, including homes, residential facilities and secure settings across metropolitan, rural and regional Victoria.
The Service System Navigator plays a leadership role in each Orange Door location (Support and Safety Hub). Reporting to The Orange Door Hub Manager, this role identifies shared priorities at the local level and explores new opportunities to partner and provide service responses through The Orange Door.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing and maintaining service interface arrangements with key services across the local area and broader service network.
- Partnering with the local service sector to address local area service gaps and resolve issues relating to service delivery.
- Maintaining progress of service engagement, connections and capacity identifying actual and potential barriers and finding effective ways to deal with them.
