Senior Family Law Advocate

Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced legal professional to lead our Legal Services team.
- To qualify, you will need to be a holder of an unrestricted Victorian Practising Certificate (or eligible to hold), with the capacity to supervise others.
- A minimum of four years' experience at a senior level in family law, family violence law, child protection, or victims of crime assistance is required.
About the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, culturally safe, and client-focused legal services across metropolitan or regional Victoria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of legal services, ensuring compliance with legal, professional, and accreditation requirements;
- Manage a small caseload of complex or sensitive matters where appropriate;
- Foster a culturally safe, client-focused service culture across your team;
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders;
- Support law reform, advocacy, and systemic change initiatives;
Your Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you will require strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
About You: You will also require a Victorian Working with Children Check and a National Police Check.
