Job Description

We are seeking a strategic leader to join our team and drive the implementation of our corporate strategy. The Senior Manager, Strategy and PMO will be responsible for translating our strategic objectives into a prioritized portfolio of initiatives and leading the establishment and operation of a fit-for-purpose Project Management Office (PMO). This role will oversee the delivery of our corporate strategy and organizational roadmap, maintaining oversight of the strategic project portfolio, ensuring alignment to objectives.

The successful candidate will be accountable for driving strategic alignment, delivering transparent reporting, strengthening governance, and embedding a culture of performance and accountability across our portfolio of initiatives. You will lead the development, implementation, and improvement of project management frameworks, provide timely reporting and insights to executives on key initiatives, risks, and opportunities, and build organizational project delivery capability through training, tools, and coaching.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, public policy, project management, or a related field are mandatory.
  • Experience in a strategy/PMO leadership role is essential.
  • Formal project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, MSP) are desirable.

The successful candidate will possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex environments and balance competing priorities. They will also have the ability to inspire trust and confidence across senior stakeholders, foster a high-performance culture, champion engagement, and build capability across their team and the wider organization.
