Strategic Clinical Governance Leader

The Board Clinical Director is responsible for providing strategic direction to future-proof clinical governance systems and ensure they are reform-ready. This involves strengthening the Board's oversight of clinical risk, safety, and quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead confidently through aged care reform, including the new Aged Care Act and in-home care changes.
  • Position the Board to lead effectively in complex, regulated environments.
Leadership Qualities:

A seasoned clinical leader with substantial experience in senior executive and governance roles across aged care, community health, or disability services is required. The successful candidate must be recognised for their capacity to lead in complex, regulated environments and represent the clinical voice at the highest level of decision-making.

Requirements:
  • Registered Health Practitioner (e.g. Registered Nurse, Allied Health Professional, Psychologist, General Practitioner, or Gerontologist) with current AHPRA registration.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Health Management, Governance, Risk, Gerontology, or Public Health.
  • Completion of AICD Company Directors Course (or willingness to undertake).
  • 10–15+ years in senior clinical, executive, or Board-level roles.
