The Executive Director, Specialist Operations and Coordination role is a key position that provides strategic leadership and direction to AV's Specialist Operations and Coordination division.
- Provide executive leadership and oversight of the division, ensuring adherence to legislative requirements and achievement of key performance indicators.
- Offer reliable senior-level strategic and operational advice to inform divisional and AV strategic goals.
- Drive integration and innovation across the division to improve coordination, care, and management of complex patients.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration with system partners and stakeholders to maintain and enhance AV's reputation and credibility in health and emergency services.
To succeed in this challenging role, you should be a highly motivated and strategic senior leader with an extensive healthcare background at the senior level.
- Possess a tertiary or postgraduate qualification in a relevant clinical discipline.
- Have extensive senior experience in ambulance service operations, including program development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Have a strong working knowledge and experience of state-wide telecommunications technology and communications.
- Proven expertise in advancing clinical knowledge through deep understanding of contemporary ambulance/healthcare issues.
