Job Overview
The Complex Disability Support Worker will work within Kirinari's strength-based, non-punitive, therapeutic model of care to provide safety and support to clients with complex trauma and behavioral needs. This role involves developing and assisting clients in various locations, including houses, schools, hospitals, community centers, and emergency accommodation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized support plans for clients
- Provide daily support and assistance to clients in their homes, schools, or other settings
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
- Identify and respond to client growth needs and opportunities
Requirements
- Qualification in Community Services (Cert IV) is highly regarded
- Strong interest in youth work, mental health, and the disability industry
- Understanding of strength-based trauma-informed practice framework
- Ability and willingness to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends, and public/school holidays with significant availability
- Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
- Ability to obtain a paid NSW Working with Children Check prior to commencement
- Complete a National Criminal History Check (paid by Kirinari)
- Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs
- Smart Phone
- Current Driver's Licence
About You

Estimated Salary
