Job Description:

Ensure safe planning, design, implementation and dismantling of temporary works on-site. Maintain compliance with legal and project requirements. Liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of temporary works activities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinate and manage all temporary works activities on the construction site.
  • Ensure that all temporary works designs are compliant with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Review and approve temporary works designs and ensure they meet project requirements.
  • Liaise with design teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of temporary works activities.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures for temporary works.
  • Monitor the installation, use, and dismantling of temporary works to ensure compliance with approved designs and safe working practices.
  • Provide technical advice and support to project teams regarding temporary works.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including records of temporary works activities and compliance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of temporary work activities.
  • Sub-contractor management including scope of works creation and tendering.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in Engineering, Engineering Science, Building or Construction.
  • Ability to collaborate with site staff for project needs and deliver project updates in daily meetings.
  • Coordination between site and project office with current information, issues and risks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
