We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Sales Executive to join our team. As a key player in our sales department, you will be responsible for securing heavy equipment consignments and filling the auction yard ahead of each sale date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through your established network of contacts in the industry.
  • Secure heavy equipment consignments and fill the auction yard ahead of each sale date.
  • Grow your territory through superior new business development skills and maximise consignments.
  • Consign equipment to any Euro Auctions sale site around the world, maximising earning potential.

The Ideal Candidate:

To succeed in this role, you must be:

  • A machinery enthusiast with an entrepreneurial nature.
  • An excellent negotiator with the ability to spot opportunities and act on them.
  • Experienced in hunting new business opportunities using current and innovative techniques.
  • Competent in creating demand for consigned heavy equipment.
  • A self-starter who can work independently.
  • An excellent communicator with great rapport-building abilities.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • Proven sales record with minimum 2 years' experience in Construction, Agriculture, Transport Sector or associated industries.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Attendance at relevant auctions.
  • Established network of contacts within the industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of the current national and global market.
  • Familiarity with the Auction industry, buying, selling, and bid-catching at Auctions.
