Job Description:

As a Principal Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance to junior team members and contributing to major infrastructure projects, industrial and commercial developments.

  • Becoming a technical focal point and providing guidance for the structural team
  • Applying engineering fundamentals to solve intermediate to advanced engineering solutions
  • Liaising with clients, design technicians, and other team members to deliver practical solutions
  • Managing clients, preparing fee proposals, and tender documentation
  • Providing technical guidance to junior members of the team

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Technical Guidance: Providing guidance and support to junior team members in structural engineering
  2. Project Delivery: Contributing to the delivery of major infrastructure projects, industrial and commercial developments
  3. Client Management: Managing client relationships, preparing fee proposals, and tender documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 15+ years of experience in structural design, in-depth knowledge of structural engineering design, Engineers Australia Chartered Professional Engineering Status or equivalent, and a Bachelor of Civil/Structural Engineering or higher degree.
