This role involves assisting with food handling, preparation and basic cooking duties. Key responsibilities include:

Essential:

  • Experience in commercial food preparation and cooking.
  • Knowledge of safe food hygiene practices and kitchen safety.
  • Police Check and valid Australian Work Rights.

Desirable:

  • One year's experience as a commercial cook.
  • Supervisory and training experience for junior kitchen staff.
  • Excellent communication skills with supervisor and suppliers.
