Culinary Professional Sought

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at Bundaberg Early Learning Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 74 children each day.

This part-time role works 32 hours per week, offering a great work-life balance.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience in menu planning, budgeting, and stock ordering and control. They will also possess expertise in dietary and allergy safe requirements, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment following Food Safety regulations.

A team player with great communication and interpersonal skills is required, along with availability for set shift days and times Monday to Friday.

Requirements
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification and cook role experience.
  • Current Blue Card and First Aid certification.
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate completion or willingness to complete.
