Environment Head Opportunity

We are seeking an Environment Head to develop and support consistent workflows in their department, ensuring the right tools and technology are being used to deliver high-quality work in an effective manner.

This role involves developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency on an ongoing basis. The successful candidate will be accountable for communicating on behalf of the team, being the point of contact for collaboration with all shows and implementing strategies to maximize resources and productivity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and supporting consistent workflows
  • Ensuring the right tools and technology are being used
  • Communicating on behalf of the team
  • Implementing strategies to maximize resources and productivity

Requirements include:

  • Deep understanding of environment creation within visual effects for high-end film and television
  • At least 10 years experience in the VFX industry
  • Significant supervision and/or management experience in the VFX industry
  • Previous experience in line management
  • Must have extensive knowledge of tools and software such as Houdini, Nuke, Maya, Photoshop, Speedtree, Substance Suite, Mari, and other peripheral software used in the creation of environments

A key aspect of this role is the ability to engage in the creative process with a positive and supportive attitude. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent artistic eye for the design of CG environments to push the levels of photorealism across all of our environment work.
