Facility Operations Leader

The ideal candidate will lead maintenance operations and drive ongoing transport success in our Acacia Ridge, Queensland facility.
Primary Responsibilities- Manage workshop day-to-day activities, schedule maintenance tasks, assign jobs, and oversee workflow efficiency.
- Ensure vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and repaired promptly to meet high operational standards.
- Develop proactive maintenance plans to maximise fleet efficiency and reliability, ensuring seamless vehicle availability.
- Lead a team of automotive technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to promote excellence.
- Coordinate with operations to align vehicle schedules and respond to urgent requirements, guaranteeing optimal service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and associated costs for data-driven decision-making.
- Significant experience as a Workshop Manager or senior automotive maintenance professional.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial vehicle maintenance procedures, including diagnostic skills.
- Proven ability to motivate and lead a team of skilled technicians, driving productivity and job satisfaction.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems to leverage data insights for strategic planning.
