Laundry Service Job Opportunity

We are seeking an honest and hardworking individual who can be a positive role model to adults with challenged abilities.

This is a unique opportunity for someone to work in our commercial laundry service and gardening work crew, providing employment to NDIS Participants who have challenged abilities while employing a local team to offer quality service to regional areas.

  • Essential Skills:
    • A strong interest in working with people from diverse backgrounds
    • Excellent communication and listening skills
    • Good computer literacy
    • A high level of self-motivation and ethics with a practical approach
    • A high standard of interpersonal skills, including self-awareness
    • Knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS)
    • Ability to work independently and as an active team member
    • Competence in making deliveries in a van within Young and out of town
  • Licenses and Checks Required:
    • Hold a current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain it
    • NDIS Worker Clearance Screening - required for disability industry
  • Desirable Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
    • Experience in the field
    • Certificate III/IV in Disabilities, or relevant qualification

  • Subject to completion of a satisfactory six-month trial period
