Orchard Operations Specialist Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orchard Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our orchard operations team, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of tasks to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our orchards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tree pruning and training
  • Machinery operation (tractors, slashers, sprayers, etc.)
  • Irrigation system maintenance
  • Harvest support and coordination
  • General orchard upkeep

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in orchard or horticultural work
  • Confidence operating and maintaining farm machinery
  • Understanding of seasonal orchard practices and timelines
  • Able to work independently and lead by example
  • Reliability, good time management, and pride in work
  • Strong focus on safety and efficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Forklift/High Risk licence
  • HC truck licence
  • Chemcert accreditation
  • Mechanical aptitude
