Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

The company is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement and maintain cloud-based infrastructure primarily on Azure and AWS platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Architecture & Deployment: Design, deploy and manage scalable cloud solutions on Azure, M365 and AWS. Develop infrastructure-as-code (IaC) scripts using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation or ARM templates.
  • Operations & Automation: Automate deployment pipelines and routine tasks to enhance operational efficiency. Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot issues and optimize performance and costs.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain robust security measures aligned with industry standards. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies (ISM, PSFP).
  • Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with development, operations and security teams to integrate and support cloud initiatives. Maintain thorough documentation of cloud architectures, processes and protocols.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies and cloud trends to foster innovation. Propose and implement enhancements to existing cloud solutions.

A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering or a similar role is required.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services (e.g., Virtual Machines, Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, Azure storage) and/or AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation).
  • Broad hybrid cloud experience in Azure and AWS environments.
  • Experience with GitLab, Microsoft 365 services including integration and security configurations.
  • Knowledge in containerization and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Certifications in Azure, or Microsoft 365 or AWS.
