Our Daily Cuisine Specialist

The role of our daily cuisine specialist plays a vital part in creating positive experiences for children in our care by providing delicious, healthy meals that fuel young minds and bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies
  • Utilise creativity and organisational skills to plan menus and order food supplies in consultation with directors
  • Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic
  • Work a part time roster of 15 hours per week, no split shifts, no night shifts and no weekend work

About Our Centre

Our centre caters to 75 children daily across five distinct rooms and features three spacious yards. It boasts a dedicated, separate Kindergarten yard, abundant shade, natural elements, and a variety of loose parts for creative play.

We offer flexible working arrangements where possible to promote staff work-life balance. The team includes staff who speak Spanish, English, and First Nations languages, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
