This community service provides outreach and in-hub support for mental health and wellbeing. Everyone in the community is welcome.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Main point of contact for communication, providing exceptional secretarial and reception services to young people and clinical staff.
  • Taking incoming calls, directing callers to the right staff member, and scheduling appointments.
  • Maintenance of client records and general office duties such as mail opening, typing, scanning, filing, and archiving.
  • Closing and securing the building at the end of the day.
  • Preparing medical letters for the clinical team and monitoring Mental Health Care Plans.
  • Liaising with the Clinical Service Manager on MBS billing and client pathways.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate III in Medical Administration or similar qualification is ideal.
  • Excellent administration, time management, and organisational skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of the health sector and ability to work with diverse backgrounds is required.
  • Successful experience in multidisciplinary teams and strong communication skills are necessary.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills, problem-solving, and organisational abilities are crucial.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills and understanding of duty of care and confidentiality are required.
