Hotel General Manager - Lead Operations and Strategy

 

About the Role:

As the Hotel General Manager, you will be responsible for leading the overall management and strategic direction of Hotel Morris Sydney, part of the Handwritten Collection. You will build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including guests, owners, and suppliers.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support all departments to achieve operational excellence and exceed performance targets
  • Maximise profitability while effectively managing financials to ensure long-term success
  • Champion employee engagement and foster a collaborative, inclusive environment where every team member feels valued and inspired

 

Requirements:
  • A qualification in hotel management, hospitality management, commerce or business administration would be highly regarded
  • Previous experience as a General Manager is essential, preferably within a boutique hotel environment
  • Proven leader with a strategic vision and demonstrated success in driving the commercial performance of the business and delivering on KPIs
