About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled General Manager to lead our luxury hotel in Sydney. As a natural-born leader, you will inspire, innovate, and empower your team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

With a strong background in luxury hotel management, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of the hotel, ensuring smooth running and exemplary guest service. You will also be responsible for preparing and reviewing budgets and forecasts, managing and chasing debtors, and overseeing orders and conducting audits.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will partner with Sales, Revenue, and Marketing to build an annual business plan and actively monitor and revise it based on hotel performance. You will also be responsible for driving business development, team development, and luxury service delivery.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of success in luxury hotel management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience at a General Management level. You will have a strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance luxury service outcomes with profitability and performance outcomes.

  • Strong luxury hotel management experience, with a minimum of 5 years at a General Management level
  • Proven track record of success in driving business development, team development, and luxury service delivery

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
