About the Role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our luxury hotel, Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour. As a seasoned hospitality professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring seamless and profitable function, and driving revenue growth through effective stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all facets of the property, including revenue management, recruiting & training, customer service, and achievement of financial targets
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team to ensure the hotel's profitability and success, fostering a culture of excellence and driving positive customer sentiment
  • Drive changes and improvements in performance, implementing strategies in line with business objectives, and maintaining excellent product and service standards
  • Create and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, property owners, guests, and regional shared services
  • Act as a liaison within the local community, representing Accor and fostering community engagement
Requirements
  • Prior General Manager experience and a deep understanding across a range of departments and stakeholder management
  • Previous experience in a Strata environment with strong Food & Beverage background to lead the relaunch of Hyde Hacienda Sydney Bar & Lounge and the plan for Q-Dining Refurbishment
  • Ability to create environments where team members are encouraged and motivated to be their true selves each day
  • Display confidence in your ability to cultivate strong relationships, effectively address challenging situations, and implement solutions that enhance service quality
  • Experience and capability to drive financial growth through skilful & thoughtful strategy
  • Comprehension of the key metrics that impact and grow hospitality businesses, using this knowledge to drive top-line revenue and motivating your team to do the same
