Bus Driver Position

About Our Darling Downs Campus

Our campus in Hilbert is a K-10 co-ed Christian school with a spacious and modern site set in peaceful and semi-rural surroundings. The learning culture is strong and we have experienced sustained growth in recent years. We are adding secondary year groups each year until K-12 is catered for.

The Role

We are seeking a part-time bus driver to commence as soon as possible to provide the following support:

  • Split shift hours: before and after school
  • The potential for additional casual driving
  • Safely transport students to and from school on designated routes
  • Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere building strong relationships with our students
  • Adhere to the allocated schedule ensuring prompt and efficient service
  • Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate transportation for staff and student excursions and camps
  • Maintain a clean and tidy bus interior promoting a comfortable and welcoming environment for students
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the bus
  • Safely load and unload students at designated stops ensuring their well-being and maintaining order
