We do so, by caring for the elderly and disabled in their homes day-to-day. You would be joining a kindhearted team who dedicate their time towards helping enable client independence as well as building relationships within the community

**In this role you will**:

- Manage a team of support workers.
- Support the induction process by providing mentoring and support during buddy shifts.
- Coach and support all community support workers ensuring required standards are achieved.
- Complete SW performance reviews and appraisals.
- Provide job ready training as required.
- Follow up on client feedback and complaints regarding standard of supports provided.
- Provide services as detailed in the Support Plan and as per individual needs and wishes, such as, but not limited to; social support, shopping assistance, personal care and medication administering.
- Provide care, supports and services free from: all forms of violence, discrimination, exploitation, neglect and abuse and sexual misconduct.
- Promptly take steps to raise and act on concerns about matters that may impact the quality and safety of care, supports and services.
- Act with respect for the privacy of people.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.

What we require:

- Two years or more experience working in Community or Residential Aged Care setting.
- Cert III in Aged Care and Disability Care
- Current First Aid certificate
- Medication Competency
- A valid non-provisional WA driving license
- Access to a reliable safe vehicle appropriate to transport clients.
- Full comprehensive car insurance and registration
- All applicants must have a NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Fully vaccinated against Covid19
- A sound understanding of regulatory compliance and industry standards.
- High level of communication and time management skills
- Promotes the HALO Care & Support brand positively at all times.

**Salary**: Up to $36.85 per hour
