Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Contract Specialist to join our team at Marble, a leading provider of basement and foundation solutions for commercial builders and major infrastructure contractors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of construction contracts, including but not limited to:

  • Contract Administration:
    • Review and analyze construction contracts to identify key terms and conditions.
    • Prepare and issue contract documents, including variations, notices, and claims.
    • Monitor contract performance and identify potential risks and issues.
    • Manage the contract close-out process.
  • Procurement:
    • Prepare tender documents and evaluate tenders.
    • Issue purchase orders and manage supplier performance.
    • Resolve procurement disputes and claims.
  • Claims and Variations:
    • Prepare and submit claims and variations.
    • Negotiate settlements with clients and subcontractors.
  • Project Management:
    • Assist project managers in the planning and execution of projects.
    • Monitor project progress and identify potential delays.
    • Prepare project reports and presentations.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in contract administration within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and contract law.
  • Proficiency in Procore is a must.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
