About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality and Education Officer to join our team at RFBI Glen Innes Masonic Village. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for coordinating education and quality improvement initiatives across the village, ensuring that our staff receive the training and support they need to deliver high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality improvement plans to ensure compliance with Aged Care Accreditation Standards
  • Coordinate and allocate audit tools to staff to ensure regular auditing and monitoring of aged care standards
  • Manage and maintain our quality management system, ensuring that all necessary records and documentation are up-to-date and accurate
  • Support the audit process and ensure that all findings are addressed and implemented
  • Onboard new staff and coordinate compulsory competencies and education, ensuring that all staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care
  • Monitor compliance and record all education on our training database
Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Extensive clinical experience within an aged care/health care setting
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
  • High level communication skills
