About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Coordinator Specialist to join our National Capital Works team.

The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support to ensure the successful delivery of our Capital Works projects, including coordinating a diverse portfolio, ensuring all projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and in full compliance with G8 standards and legislative requirements.

Key responsibilities include working collaboratively within the team, providing project delivery and completion support, maintaining and evolving the Capital Works Programs reporting framework, consulting with project managers, and updating internal customers on project status.

Additionally, the Project Coordinator Specialist will liaise with landlords and local councils, consult various databases, develop and foster internal customer relationships, and generate and present regular reports.

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a project administration or support role is required.
  • Qualifications in Business Administration or a related field are essential.
  • A current Open Driver's Licence is mandatory.
  • Experience in project management in Early Education or a similar field is highly regarded.
  • Exceptional communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel and SharePoint document control, is expected.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality are essential qualities for this position.
  • The ability to work across multiple projects and prioritize work efficiently is crucial.
  • Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and decision-making is required.
About You

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills. Experience in project coordination, administration, and support is essential. A strong understanding of project management principles and practices is also necessary.

You will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to ensure the successful delivery of our Capital Works projects. This includes coordinating a diverse portfolio, ensuring all projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and in full compliance with G8 standards and legislative requirements.
