We are seeking a skilled Culinary Team Member to join our kitchen team at Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts.

This role will involve working in a fast-paced environment, preparing and cooking food to the highest standards for our guests. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen team and overseeing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the kitchen team and ensuring smooth daily operations
  • Preparing, cooking, and serving food to the highest standards
  • Upskilling and training colleagues
  • Monitoring routine workplace operations
  • Assisting with kitchen station setup and breakdown
  • Maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Commercial Cookery/Culinary Arts qualification from a registered training provider
  • Flexibility with night, weekend, and public holiday shifts
  • Leadership experience in kitchen operations
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects (up to 50lbs/23kg)
  • Good reading, writing, and basic math skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
