Senior Civil Engineer - Urban OpportunityAre you a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer looking for a challenging opportunity to oversee and manage various civil engineering projects from conception to completion?Working primarily in the brownfield redevelopment and vertical build space, you will work closely with other engineers, architects, and construction professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.This role includes overseeing project planning, design deliverables, and client liaison.Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage multiple civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and construction professionals.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects, within budget and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Develop and implement effective project plans, including design deliverables and client liaison.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer status or equivalent registration in Queensland.
  • 5-10 years of experience working as a civil engineer.
  • Demonstrated experience in civil design, pavements, and earthworks for various development sites.
  • Strong technical skills, from first principles to using software.
  • Proficient in utilizing Australian Standards relevant to Civil Design.
  • Proven track record of coordinating resources, designs, and projects.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to mentor junior engineers.
