Job Description

We are seeking a strategic asset management professional to lead the analysis and execution of initiatives across the entire asset lifecycle.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing asset optimisation initiatives, building vendor relationships, and overseeing logistics asset performance.

They will also ensure fleet maintenance effectiveness, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with frontline operations to identify challenges and uncover opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement asset optimisation strategies to improve efficiency and commercial outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee logistics asset performance and ensure alignment with business strategy.
  • Ensure fleet maintenance effectiveness and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with frontline operations to identify challenges and uncover opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Logistics/Transport or Supply Chain field.
  • Experience in Supply chain / Operations management and Asset Management.
  • Experience in Heavy vehicle fleet management and knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Regulations.
  • Understanding of transport operations including safety and compliance requirements.
  • High level of analytical skills and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written).
  • Flexible to travel.
