Governance and Risk Management Professional


Role Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned governance and risk management professional to lead the development and implementation of effective governance frameworks, policies, and procedures across the organisation.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop governance frameworks to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leaders on governance, risk, and audit matters
  • Lead policy review and development, including delegations, insurance oversight, councillor support, and elections coordination

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in governance/business or extensive relevant local government experience
  • Proven skills in governance, investigations, GIPA, Public Interest Disclosures, risk, and insurance
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
