Roster Support Officer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Roster Support Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating care and services for clients living in their homes, supporting them to live independently and connected to their community.

This role involves acting as the central point of contact for clients and support workers, ensuring all client and staff enquiries are attended to promptly and responded to professionally. The Roster Support Officer will also liaise with staff from other departments to resolve customer issues and manage the re-rostering of absent staff due to unplanned leave.

The ideal candidate will have a Cert IV in Business Administration or equivalent and minimum 2 years experience in customer service, administration, and rostering/team coordination roles. They will possess excellent time management and organisational skills, ability to build strong relationships with staff, and effective administration skills with ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  1. Act as the central point of contact for clients and support workers in rostering services.
  2. Ensure all client and staff enquiries are attended to promptly and responded to professionally.
  3. Liaise with staff from other departments to resolve customer issues.
  4. Manage the re-rostering of absent staff due to unplanned leave.
  5. Maintain accuracy of roster records.
Requirements
  • Cert IV in Business Administration or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in customer service, administration, and rostering/team coordination roles.
  • Customer service experience in managing and triage calls.
  • Effective administration skills with ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with staff, guiding and supporting colleagues at all levels.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills for working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to take initiative, work with minimum supervision, and implement administrative systems.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to speak Greek is an advantage.
