City Centre Place and Projects Manager

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the revitalization of Mandurah's City Centre through the development and implementation of programs, projects, and activations.
The successful candidate will possess excellent project management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. They will have a strong understanding of economic development principles and be able to effectively engage with local stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Program Development: Develop and implement a range of programs, projects, and activations to drive visitation, investment, and economic growth in Mandurah's City Centre.
- Project Management: Support the implementation of Mandurah's City Centre Master Plan, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver key projects.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, community groups, and other key stakeholders to promote economic growth and development.
- Operational Delivery: Hold a current unrestricted "C" class national driver's licence and be willing to undertake travel within the region as required.
- Tertiary Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as business administration, urban planning, or marketing.
- Experience: Substantial experience in the planning and delivery of projects, programs, and events, including project management, stakeholder engagement, and operational delivery.
- Skills: Demonstrated project management skills, with a strong understanding of economic development principles and effective communication skills.
- Administrative Skills: Knowledge of administration and operational implementation of projects and events, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Sponsorship and Marketing: Experience in sponsorship and marketing strategies, including event promotion, media relations, and social media engagement.
- Communication Skills: Well-developed communication skills, including active listening, conflict resolution, and presentation skills.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to work with limited supervision, and possess a high level of project management, organisation, and time management skills.
