We are in the market for an experienced and qualified professional with experience in maintenance of building and facilities infrastructure and enjoys the rewards of a good challenge. As the Coordinator you will lead a team to deliver and achieve business objectives outlined in the CoM's Strategic, Business and Asset Management Plans. You will be responsible for the coordination of maintenance and management of the City Building and Facilities infrastructure assets.

**What can you bring to the team?**
- Tertiary Degree in a relevant discipline and associated experience
- Minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience in maintenance of building and facilities infrastructure
- Current unrestricted 'C' class driver's licence
- Experience in managing large operational teams in a multi-skilled environment
- Experience in budgeting and expenditure management
- Experience in procurement procedures and practices
- Thorough knowledge and experience in estimating, budget costing, project administration and management to enable a cost-effective operation of the Council budget
- High level of knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health legislation, Building Act 2011. Health Act 1911, and related legislation and standards
- A thorough understanding of Local Government requirements to ensure all works are carried out according to the general requirements of the Local Government Act, other appropriate Acts and Australian Standards and to the specific requirements of Council policy
- High-level leadership and coordination skills
- Experience in high-level commitment to customer service (external and internal)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High-level organisational and project management ability
- High-level negotiation and consultation skills
- Ability to initiate and manage change within a complex organisational environment
**The finer details**
This fulltime Level Nine (9) position attracts a salary range of $125,891 to $134,254 gross per annum dependent on qualifications and experience and includes an additional Transport Allowance of $14,000. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
