Job Description

The Director of Human Resources will play a pivotal role in shaping our people strategy and influencing the direction of the organisation. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for crafting and executing HR strategies and initiatives that align with our business goals.

You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to identify emerging workforce trends and formulate proactive talent strategies to ensure our business is always ready for the future. Additionally, you will encourage leadership to embrace a people-centric approach by offering constructive challenges and insights.

As part of this role, you will inspire, guide, and cultivate a dynamic team of HR professionals to successfully achieve divisional HR goals. You will also work in partnership with cross-functional teams to align with business objectives and roll out fresh HR initiatives and enhance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic HR plans to support business objectives

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Several years of experience operating at a senior level in a relevant people-focused role
  • A strong background in leading management and leadership development activities, supporting cultural change and employee engagement
  • Experience of working at both strategic and operational levels to deliver outcomes
  • Ability to operate at a strategic level across the organisation and lead the people strategy in M&A opportunities
  • Excellent understanding of employment law, HR policy and practice
